Julianne Heagy

I have been married to my husband, Blair, for over 30 years. We have two grown children and our first grandchild is on the way. Blair was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013 and I experienced a stroke in 2019. Through these years of health challenges, we have found the way to remain positive and continue to find joy in our lives is to practice an attitude of gratitude.

I have enjoyed various careers in fields of medicine and marketing. I was left with enough cognitive limitations that I was unable to return to work after my stroke. Over a few years of of writing, working with a talented editor and publisher, my books have been made available for others on this stroke journey. They offer advice and access to resources.
